Pay-as-you-go overage

Illustrative marketing plans include published caps. When billing is live, measured overage will be shown in the dashboard before you are charged—similar to how leading ESPs disclose bucket rates.

Dedicated IPs (add-on path)

High-volume programs can scope dedicated IPs with your infrastructure provider (for example AWS SES) and operational warmup. Marshmellos focuses on clear measurement, suppression, and dashboard visibility alongside those deliverability investments.

Capabilities evolve—confirm in your account or release notes before relying on a cell for procurement. We only mark features we are willing to stand behind in the product surface; roadmap talk belongs to sales.

MarshmellosGrow — US$53/mo list (example: sends + stored contacts in next column)100,000 sends/mo + 50,000 contacts stored — illustrative Grow-class profile for this row.Email-first product: no separate “SMS credit packs” required for core email sending. Caps, overage, and measured sends are shown in-app before you are charged.Transparent list model: sends + stored contacts; published caps; one layer for campaigns plus API sends; scalable without bundling unrelated channels into the same line item. Not an all-in-one CRM or ads suite; fewer native non-email channels than multichannel marketing clouds.
MailchimpEssentials — from $13/mo (US list, 500 contacts)Send allowance is tied to your contact tier and plan (Essentials uses a contact × multiplier model—use Mailchimp’s calculator for exact sends at 500 contacts).Price rises quickly with contacts and add-ons. SMS and some channels rely on integrations (e.g. linked providers) with separate billing.Large template gallery, broad brand recognition, strong fit for classic newsletter and retail lists.Costs scale with list size; product surface can feel busy; transactional vs marketing split can add overhead.Official pricing
BrevoStarter — from $9/mo (Marketing Platform list)5,000 marketing emails/mo on the published Starter email-volume entry (larger packs sold on the same pricing page).SMS, WhatsApp, and other channels use prepaid credits or add-on packs—they are not unlimited inside your email quota. Budget email and SMS separately.Generous entry positioning, automation and CRM-style features at higher tiers, popular in EU.Multichannel “included” messaging can still mean separate credit purchases; total cost grows with email volume and add-ons.Official pricing
Constant ContactLite — from $12/mo (US list, up to 500 contacts)Send limits follow the Lite plan rules for that contact band (see Constant Contact’s calculator for exact monthly sends).Optional add-ons and term-based discounts change the headline; regional pricing differs.Simple for small-business marketing, events, and social integrations many teams already use.Less API/developer-first than specialist email platforms; pricing climbs with list and features.Official pricing
KlaviyoEmail — from $20/mo list at low active profiles (ecommerce tiering)Priced on active profiles and email sends; entry tier assumes a small profile count—raise profiles and pay jumps.SMS and mobile channels are billed separately from core email; profile growth is the main cost driver.Deep Shopify-style ecommerce integrations, strong segmentation, lifecycle flows. Can get expensive as profiles and volume grow; steeper learning curve than lightweight senders.Official pricing
ActiveCampaignMarketing — from $15/mo list (about 1,000 contacts, US)Contact-tiered plans with per-tier send limits; exact sends depend on the plan you select.Additional users/seats and SMS or add-on channels are commonly priced separately from the base marketing bundle.Powerful automation, deal/CRM adjacent features, good for complex nurture programs.Complexity and upsells; total cost increases with contacts, seats, and add-ons.Official pricing
HubSpot Marketing HubMarketing Hub Starter — from $15/mo per seat (monthly list; promos vary)Marketing email volume is tied to Marketing Hub tier and included marketing contacts; not a flat send-only bill.CRM, Sales, and Service hubs are separate purchases for many teams; contact tier and seat count both move price.Best when you already run CRM and automation inside HubSpot end-to-end.Expensive at scale; heavy admin; overkill if you only need focused email marketing + API.Official pricing

Snapshot tier and send limits are taken from each vendor’s public pricing or help pages as of the date above; currency, region, promos, and calculators change outcomes. This is not a quote—confirm on the vendor site.

FAQ

Are these prices final?

Headline numbers are illustrative until billing is live. Final caps, bands, and overage are published in-app before we charge—and existing paid plans get advance notice before list-price changes affect renewal.

How does Scale differ from Grow?

Grow targets typical campaign volume with published send and contact limits. Scale is for high sends and large stored lists—the calculator adds send cost plus storage cost so big databases don’t underpay infrastructure.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes. Verified domains and sender profiles are included on Grow and above; Launch uses a Marshmellos subdomain until you upgrade.

What if I need SSO or a contract?

Enterprise covers SSO, contractual SLA options, and scoping for volume and security—talk to us after you share requirements.

Where do I see usage?

Usage for accepted sends appears in your dashboard in near real time once metering is enabled for your account.

We give advance notice before list-price changes. Active paid plans generally keep their current rate through the billing period in force when notice is given.

Billing is not active yet. Illustrative USD; confirm in-app before any charge.
